Southern Timber Frame's team of experienced sawyers and production workers manufacture timber frame components to exacting standards using timber sourced from suppliers certified by the Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) and the Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes (PEFC).

The company holds the UK Timber Frame Association Q-Mark, has an 800 unit manufacturing capacity and offers susbstantial experience in timber frame manufacture for larger buildings including care homes and flats, as well as churches, social housing and private developments.

Providing high quality timber frame components

Once your plans have been approved, Southern Timber Frame's production manager oversees production of cutting lists and manufacturing of all components from drawings to delivery. Regular moisture checks are carried out on all timbers to ensure integrity, and the yard foreman carries out regular inspections of cut timbers.
