This is a extension to turn an existing 2 storey block of flats into a three storey block, the old roof was removed leaving the original ceiling joists in place. We then fitted pre fabricated floor panels over the top from which the 2nd floor walls were supported.

A development of 12 flats, Russell Road, Basingstoke, Hampshire. Completed February 2008.
As can be seen from the picture these flats were constructed with a curved roof, the external wall panels below the curved roof were manufactured in segments with pockets to take the roof beams which formed the curve.
