12 Timber frame flats, Lowther Road, Bournemouth. Completed July 2008.
This block of flats demonstrates the speed of build with timber frame, the block of flats to the left was of traditional construction, when we started the erect they were well under way with the brick/blockwork. At the time of taking this photograph they still had scaffold to the front elevation, whereas the block we built, as can be seen from the picture was all but finished.

14 flats, Wimbourne Road, Bournemouth. Completed May 2008.
As can be seen, this timber frame was built over a local conveniance store. The ground floor is of steel and concrete construction (by others), the timber frame was erected from the first floor upwards, incorporating the use of cranked steel beams to form the mansard roof to the second floor.

These timber frame houses were erected over a period of 8 weeks and are for social housing use.

This block of 32 flats is of mixed use for both social and private housing, there is also 2 timber frame houses to the rear.

14, 1&2 bedroom flats, Palmerston Road, Bournemouth, Dorset. Completed July 2007.
This block of timber frame flats was erected entirely without the use of a crane, this was partly due to the fact that a railway line runs within approximately 20 metres from the left hand elevation of the building, and the flats also front a bend on a busy main road with no access for cranes or lorries to the rear.
